I Am A Brand

I AM YOUR BRAND...

If you were to invest in me as a brand I would provide you as my employers with a creative and positive mind to strive and conclude in success within the industry. I can apply my current, competitive and innovative ideas to the team.

My work experience at Jaguar Land Rover Public Relations and Advertising teams and Dudley Council Marketing and Communication department has enabled me to gain and apply my ideas and skills to the contemporary and fast moving creative industry. I learnt how real industries operate which is an invaluable experience as an undergraduate. My experience included attending and planning meetings and events such as Goodwood Festival of Speed and a Range Rover product launch. I overlooked and created product brochures, press releases and press coverage books.

Since 2011 I have worked at The Crooked House pub and restaurant. Working as a team to give customers and often tourists a personal and an excellent service and experience has given me many communication and organisational skills. Here I am part of planning events such as harvest festivals, charity events, weddings and parties. These skills enhanced my organisational and time skills and allowed me to work personally with customers and managers to create a successful event with external specifications.

I believe that social media is the future. I have analysed and been a user of social media networks Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Four Square, Poynt and more.  From working within this media, I feel my knowledge and correct usage of the tools could benefit any creative industry in the modern world today. I feel my social media skills could benefit your company against competitors.

My twelve years experience within an athletics club has given me the ability and stability to work in teams by being the ‘Junior and Senior League’ team leader for three years. Organising and motivating the team through success and failure has been challenging and enthralling and I always ensure myself and the club is productive. Competing and training three times a week has shown that I am a very committed person.

I hope to graduate in 2013 with a first class Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations BA Hons degree from University of Worcester. From attending university I have perfected organisational and punctuality skills with various lectures and assignment deadlines. The assignments completed at university enabled me to understand the current and real life industry issues and happenings. Completing PR strategies for Tesco and Toyota and assessing the marketing, advertising and communication methods for Cadbury, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Short Bark and Sides has given me an idea what work within the creative industry involves and it excites me to start my career.

I have a strong passion for motoring, media and sports, a career in the creative side of this genre within marketing, advertising and public relations would be seen as my biggest passion and ambition. My personal knowledge and interest of the topics would be seen as beneficial to business.
